I hope everything has worked out with your cat. What the other posteres have said is true my cat Ghost had to be put to sleep because of not eating and getting fatty liver and her kidneys shut down. We just got adopted by a cat that someone dumped behind my work and it did not eat yeaterday and so I was right to the vet with it. (saying it cause we don't know yet if Beauty who we bought a big pink travel cage and fluffy pink bed and pink collar for is a boy or a girl yet the vet has to shave out some hair)

So prayers for your kitty and hoping our new family member is okay too.
