Hi There,
Your cat may be gorging himself since he is vomiting shortly after eating. However if this were one of my babies I would want a full blood panel done to determine if there is another cause. Possibly even an x-ray. Young cats sometimes eat things they shouldn't and become obstructed.
If you have been free feeding, you could try feeding smaller amounts of food a few times a day to see if that makes any difference. Or even try canned food, or a mixture of canned and dry. Canned food is more natural for cats and is easier for them to digest.
Please keep us updated.
Regards, PHKitkat
