Your cat needs an element called taurine not found in baby food. See if you can slip him some cat food which is enriched with this element.

Do I need to put tayurine in it if I am only trying this for two weeks? I am afraid to try other cat food in the test period as it may be something he is allergic to if indeed he is allergic to something.

It seems as if he might be gaining a little weight, but hard to tell and I won't know til I weigh him next week at the vet, but my unnofficial weighting at home seems positive. Will keep you updated. Thanks.

J
