A friend of mine has 3 persian kittens (12 days old) and they have just opened their eyes. One of them has a yellowish discharge that turns into a hard crust and forces the eyelids closed. She has tried using a cloth with warm water and removing the crust and discharge, but it is back within an hour and the eyes are shut again. She is removing it frequently but is really worried. What should she do? She donsnt want to take him to the vet because shes afraid the mother wont recognize the smell and that he wont be warm enough. She thinks he has blue eyes. If anyone can help please do! Thx
