My cat has double fangs! Never seen anything like it. Rascal is a 6 month old Siamese mix (looks for all the world like an Oriental shorthair)I got from the shelter 3 months ago. His baby teeth were normal.

Recently when he was on my lap he gave a big yawn and somthing about his mouth struck me as odd, I took a closer look and sure enoth, the top 2 fang teeth are doubled! 2 teeth growing out of the one space! The molars look okay although it looks like they are still coming in, and the little teeth in the front are all there in the normal amount.

I am taking him to the vet to be checked out on Monday, but he doesn't seem to be bothered and eats okay. (My gut feeling is that because of his long Siamese-type nose he should have room for the extras).

Anyone else heard of such a thing?
