I am so sorry about Briscoe. It does seem strange that he would get so suddenly ill - going from rambunctious to very lethargic. However, pancreatitis can suddenly occur in humans and perhaps this is the same with cats, and this is what is troubling Briscoe.

Hopefully you will get to the bottom of this and get a diagnosis and treatment very soon! If he is not eating he will need an IV soon if his pancreas is involved. Again, I am not familiar with feline pancreas problems, but I do know that humans are given an IV to relieve the digestive system.
