Hi,

I am sorry that Briscoe is so ill.

Cats tend to hide the way they really feel so there is a possibility that Briscoe might have been a little under the weather until he got really sick. This can cause cats to appear to become ill suddenly.

The most important thing, of course, is doing the best for Briscoe. I know IV fluids sound scary, but cats tolerate the catheter and fluids well and it also gives the vet the ability to easily administer IV drugs. The fluids will also help to bring down Briscoe's elevated numbers, which will help him to feel better.

Which "cancer tests" have been run? Do you know when you will have the results?

Please keep us updated on how Briscoe does.

Regards,
PHKitkat
