Cream probably doesn't fully recognize him. Rub Cream with a towel and then rub Blackie, then rub Cream again to exchange scents. Keep the kittens separated for a day or so and let them sniff each other under a door. You could also try putting Cream in a carrier and let Blackie sniff around it, then put Blackie in a carrier and let Cream sniff around it.
