We live on an acreage not far from town and about 2 months ago a "drop off" appeared in our yard. I think he is a drop off because he is quite tame and not one of our neighbor's cats. Anyway, he lives outside with my other cats but comes in every afternoon for playtime. He was using the litterbox today and I went in right after he was done just to make sure everything
"looks" okay. I scooped up his poop and noticed there was tiny specks of blood in it. Otherwise it appeared normal and did not smell unusual. It is a male about 6-7 months old. Since he came to us out of the blue, I have no idea if he has been looked at by a vet (I am assuming not). He is very active, very social and eats extremely well. He did not strain while going to the bathroom and is not tender anywhere in his lower abdomin.

Does anyone have any idea what this may be. Worms? Something more serious?

Thank you for any advice!
