The problem here is actually with the anal sphincter, and I think that consulting with another vet would be a good idea. You may actually be looking at having surgery done......it all depends on why Sammy is having fecal incontinence in the first place. If you could take him to a feline specialist, that would be ideal. Such a doctor may be aware of other treatment options.

Please don't put Sammy outside. It would not be fair to him and there are too many dangers, especially with him being declawed.
