I called my vet's office today and she told me that the frostbite will be fine and just to keep an eye on it to make sure there is no infection (leaking) I said that the dead tissue was falling off and new pads were underneath. She said that he may not walk around as much because they will be a little sore. About the nasal discharge - again keep an eye on it but sounds like a cold and to either have it in the bathroom when we shower or get a humidifier which I did today.
