My 4 y/o female DSH was just diagnosed with perivascular cuffing. Can anyone explain what it is to me and maybe how she got it.

I already know it's extremely serious and don't worry about scaring me. I know it's bad. I just want to know what it is and why my seemingly very healthy 4 y/o cat is already dying. My vet told me it could be tomorrow or 10 years from now.....no way to tall...but I want to know what I'm dealing with and what the future looks like.

I feel like my cats are dammed...my other cat, same age, got them both at the same time at kittens had enosyphillic (sp?) granuloma complex that is SO bad is has been on steroids non stop for about 3 1/2 years....now this.
thanks

Deb
