It doesn't seem to be only nightmares but normal dreams as well. Kittens seem to dream more violently, Kola has fallen off of a sleeping perch before. She used to creep me out because when she'd dream her eyes would open and her pupils would be so small you could barely seem them, it looked like devil kitten. Keep an eye on her and if she gets really violent or won't wake up when you tap her take her to the vet. Also if she does this at all while awake you should be concerned.
