I guess I'm going to keep up this habit of just popping in with updates for awhile. As you know, we moved to Virginia from California about 3 months ago, so it's been nuts. We moved to be with Justin's parents, as his mom was dying of brain cancer. I'm very sad to say that she passed away 3 weeks ago. While it is awful to see her go, we are all relieved that she is no longer suffering. Justin and I have been spending nearly all of our time with his father, so he won't be alone during this time. She was only 56! It's so sad.
BUT, Justin's dad is starting back at work this week, and Justin and I are in the process of purchasing a home out here. It will be our first real home together since the other place was more like his bachelor pad that I moved into.
It has 3 stories and a basement and almost 3,000 square feet. It's alot more house than we could have ever afforded in California!
It closes on March 30th, and I am soo excited to finally bring the kitties home. We are thinking of investing in getting a litter-robot. It's really expensive but the only automatic litter box that works, it seems.
Anyway, I hope you are all doing well and your kitties too of course. Toby, Ella, Cinder and Misty are getting lots of fun and attention at the boarders as they are allowed to roam about the office and get doted on.
God bless.
-Laura
