I've had my female kitten butter nutt for 5 weeks now and she's 11 weeks old. She just had her last round of shots this morning and is in great health. I would like to take her with me to visit my parents 2.5 hours away this weekend. They have two very peaceful dogs (Keeshounds- 7years and 11years) and a black male outdoor/indoor cat with a reputation for hunting (lots of birds and the occasional mouse). My parents cat gets along with other cats in the neighborhood, and is best friends with the neighbor's cat. Butternut weighs about 2 pounds, and always stays inside. I don't plan on letting them out of my sight without a closed door between them. Is it unreasonable to think there is a chance they could get along?
