Your kitty sounds so cute, sucking her thumb. No, I've never had a cat do that but if that's what makes her happy, so be it. Good that you covered the cords with Bitter Apple so that she doesn't get hurt. Sounds like you'll have to watch her carefully with her cord/string chewing habit so that she doesn't get shocked or eat something that she shouldn't. Little kittens are so much like little children in that they have to be closely supervised, some more than others, so that they don't harm themselves.



One of my cats, Katrina, used to eat newspaper and magazines when she was a kitten but has outgrown it long ago.
