As long as he keeps gaining weight and has energy should I be concerned about the amount he eats? I went by that rule when he was on formula, but am a little concerned as he never eats the amounts recomended on the cans. For general info, I've been been mostly feeding him iams canned with a little of that new iams meat with gravy stuff (both kitten) sometimes max cat to get a different flavor, and sometimes I add a little gravy from Orestes fancy feast food just to get him to eat a little more. He refuses any more bottle feedings, which I was trying to keep in for a little longer, but, oh well. (he won't have anything to do with any formula mixes either, went staight from the bottle to solid.) He was 5 weeks yesterday and weighs about 2 pounds, but only eats a little less than 3/4 a can a day with maybe 2-3 tablespoons worth of the meat chunks. According to the packages he should be eating about twice that much for his size. Should I try to get him to eat more, or if as long as he's playing and getting bigger don't worry?
