Thanks ladies.  Well I took her down to the vet today and she did much better than I thought she would, she only resisted when they took her temp or listened to her chest. She waited quietly in my lap while I waited for the x-ray results and called the rescue group to see what to do. The x-ray showed she had almost no lung capacity left due to the felv, so we had her put down. I stayed in the room with her, stroking her head, and it was very quick and painless. I just wish the poor little thing never got felv in the first place! She was such a sweetheart and I'm very sad.
I'll try to pop in here more often now that I'm feeling better. I love giving advice about kittens because it seems like we've raised about a hundred between our cats and the foster cats (more like 20-30 but still!).
