Sadly, my daughter, who was so dedicated in the intensive, nurturing care that saved these babies, has moved away to college. We all miss her. Terribly. The cats (especially Mike) are driving me absolutely nuts, they miss her so bad. I, for one, have been suffering from some serious empty-nest-syndrome. I am oh so grateful to have these loving critters in my home to help fill the void.

As for my daughter, I have no doubt that she will go on to rrescue many more needy critters in the future, and will make a great difference in this world!!
