Hi,

Thanks for being willing to take in this poor little baby. He is young enough to be tamed (if he is feral), and will learn to trust you in time.

The key is to have a lot of patience, and spend time, with this kitten. Keep his cage in a quiet place and cover it with something so that he will feel more secure. Talk to him quietly but don't try to touch him just yet.....he is probably very hand-shy right now. He should learn that you are the source of his food pretty quickly and that should help. He is too frightened to play now, but if you put a couple of toys in with him, he will start playing when he feels more comfortable. Try putting something soft in his cage for him to lay on, this will also give him a hiding place if he feels the need. Try feeding him different foods so you can find out what he likes best.

This little guy should start coming around soon! Please keep us updated on how he does.

Regards,
PHKitkat
