Hi there...since he doesn't have any discharge and you vet doesn't seem worried, I wouldn't worry either...clear discharge is also generally nothing to worry about...it's the green stuff that means a bacterial infection.

But, try this...it's called Xlear, it's a nasal wash, completely natural and safe for cats, it was recommended by my breeder, I am finally winning the snot battle with Finster my 7mo. old...he did have the green ones though and along with an antibiotic, this wash helped loosen everything up, kill the remaining bacteria that hides in the crevices of their noses...

I bought it from this site

http://store.yahoo.com/harvesthealth/xlnawawixy15.html

Even if what Rigby has is just seasonal allergies, this may still help him...

I give Finster 2 drops per nostril 2x per day and it has made a huge difference. If you are skeptical, you can also try some steam for him...put the shower on really really hot and close the door to the bathroom and keep him in there for about 15 minutes a few times a day. When Finster seemed to really not be able to breathe I did this for him to open up his nasal passages, and also allow him to sneeze out what was blocking him up...which like I mentioned before was actually thick green discharge, so I did need an antibiotic, but the steam and the Xlear along with the antibiotic have seemed to do the trick for us...you don't have the discharge, so either of these or both should work for you...

Good luck...
