It is a little after 11pm on Sunday night. Jim will be taking SkuShi in tomorrow morning and have Joanna end her suffering. She stopped eating today. I can't rationalize keeping her alive by artificial means just so I can avoid the pain. I need to remember my babygirl as alive. We'll have her cremated and I'll place her ashes beneath a rose bush that I'll buy in the Spring. It'll be our babygirl SkuShi rose.
Just when I think I can stop crying, I find a new reservoir of pain and tears. We're so lucky to have Chris her to help heal our hearts, mine feels like it's in a million pieces.
Thank you all for your prayers, good thoughts, glows and mostly for being here. This is a terrific community with wonderful Tonk mommies and daddies.
Rest in peace sweetheart, I love you so much and I'll never forget you. I've been so lucky to have you in my life for almost 13 years.
