Hi All,

Weird behavior on Jake's part tonight. Jake and Riker love toys that make noise that are attached to wands with string. They chase and play for a long time. Tonight, they broke an old toy, so I got out a new one that is black with fake feathers and bells. Jake got very intense and chased it like no other toy (he can be slightly lazy). Once he'd get a hold of it, he'd refuse to let go - really refused and would hiss at it when it was close. I don't know what he thought it was, but he took it very seriously.

In other and very much more important news - I am happy to annouce we have two toilet training graduates! We have trained Riker and Jake to go to the potty in a human toilet (think Meet the Parents). We started training them when we first brought them home and now, a little under 4 months later, they eliminate in our extra bathroom toilet. I am so excited bc we live in a townhome and do not have room for lots of litter boxes. They don't flush, but we recently got an autoflusher so when we spend a night away, they have a clean place to go. Jake is very funny bc he loves to watch the flushing. Riker was our slow learner but we removed the set up last Saturday and so far so good! Weird but True! I am one proud mama.
