Well, Jake has been to the vet twice in two days. He was keeping an eye closed (arg matey!), so we whisked him off to the vet, where they thought it was an eye infection; we received drops to administer three times a day. But today, his eye is all cloudy and inflamed and he had to go back. After an hour of tests, they think it is a virus and we have to "massage" gel into his eye and the covering membrane to get rid of the inflamation until we can go back tomorrow.

I am upset - my parents used to say that when we got hurt it hurt them, but I don't think I understood till now. I hate that they are going to keep messing with my baby and don't know what is wrong. Poor Riker doesn't understand why his brother doesn't want to play.

Anyway, long post, but I needed to vent.
