Hi Cailin: So very sorry to hear about Charlie! Very very sad---my heart goes out to you! I lost a kitten to FIP--it's so hard to watch them be sick.

She got very very sick, and despite the best efforts of the vets treating her (and a whole lot of praying on my part) there was nothing they could do for her. They suspect it was FIP, but as I'm sure most of you know, there is no cnclusive test for it. I was very lucky to have her even for the short time I did- she was such a wonderful cat and I loved her very much.
