It's great to hear that Dominique is doing so well.
Please do keep us posted!

>>Dominique seems to be recouperating nicely today. Yesterday, at the follow up visit, the vet was concerned because she was not eating or drinking, so she gave her an appetite stimulant, cyproheptadine. She took it went she got home, & within 30 minutes was at her bowl. She ate on & off throughout the day, about every 20-30 minutes or so. We called the vet yesterday, & when we told her she was eating, she said to skip the evening dose & not give her any more unless she stopped eating again. She was very restless yesterday, even into the night, coming up onto the bed numerous times while we were sleeping to be petted & go under the covers. Today she slept most of the day, but came down a little while ago & has eaten quite a bit & is drinking as well. She groomed herself yesterday & today as well. She really seems like herself. My only worry right now is that the vet took her off the heart medicine, as she said it obviously had a negative side effect for her, which is why she didn't eat. The vet is seeing her again on Friday, & will take her blood pressure & presumably give her something different for her heart which will not depress her or her appetite. Obviously that side effect of depression form the enalapril. I am pleased that she has not had to take any of the stimulant, as I read online that it is an antihistamine, which is not good for heart conditions.

>>Oh, she certainly has given us a run for it this week!
