We just had our annual check up, and the 'kids' just turned 5. the vet said next year he'll start testing their blood work. Is this necessary? especially at such a young age? And when they are so healthy?
I'm not sure if this is just a 'money making'tactic. or something very necessary.
with my previous cat, this was never mentioned by my other vet.

just curious as to what the opinions are about this
