I have an indoor cat and was sick of other cats coming and tormenting her through the patio doors. So I bought a cat scarer which is a motion sensor device which gives off a quick ultrasonic noise to scare away cats. It seems to work and Pepsi doen't get affected by it indoors with double glazing.

We bought it online at about maybe $40 equivalent, it's battery operated.
