Sorry about the delay in answering. I really never heard of this, however, in cases of hording the Humane Society and rescue groups generally step in. Sadly, probably most of the cats probably put to sleep because it sounds like they may have had a lot of health issues due to those horrible living conditions.

Sadly, the children involved may not have been removed...our Child Protective services are so overloaded that unless a child is directly in danger of dying a child is usually not put into a shelter.

>>Madame Alto - can you fill in the details?
>>
>>Watching Flip This House tonight, they featured a "cat House" from San Antonio. The investor bought the place without going inside - and it turned out to be the home of a cat collector. It was horrible; the cats ate the roaches, the rats ate the cats. (no kidding) Hazmat crews had to clean the place out and they found cat skeltons. What happened to the cats? I can't imagine it didn't hit the local news.
>>
>>The show featured the investor's near meltdown and tears but made no mention of the cats or the family involved. There appeared to be kids living there. I'm so sick to my stomach my heart aches

Smile, it will make them wonder what you are up to!
