she sent an "Epilady"
**************************

Oh dang! I remember those! Horrible, horrible thing! And letting your hair grow out?!? At that age I had blonde hair until just above the ankle where it suddenly turned one shade lighter than black. I remember being made fun of while I let the hair grow to try the epilady.

I love the results when I get my eyebrows waxed, but my skin sometimes reacts with a nasty rash the first day so I've been too afraid to have my legs professionally done. Home wax kits were a joke - wouldn't take loose hair off a cat.

My brother, a hairy man living in southern heat, recently tried sugaring at home with mixed results. One test batch worked wonders, the next batch, not-so-much. He went to work for a week with patches of hair missing from his arms - just looked moth eaten he said. He finally shaved away his test patches. (which still looked a little strange) He is dying for laser treatments "just to thin the forest..."
