Stanley and Pookey refuse to cook, as they can eat the same dry food day after day and can't understand my need for diversification.

I usually cook a big meal on Sunday (meatloaf, roast chicken, pot roast, pork roast, soups/chili, something...) that I can divide up into 3 or so meals (plus the one I eat on Sunday) and eat during the week. I eat at home Sunday thru Thursday, 5 days. I have the leftovers about 3 times and the other two weeknights I'll make something easy like broiling salmon in the oven with a veggie on the side... I work long days, so I like leftovers and easy prep items (sometimes all I want is a sandwich or bowl of cereal).

Fridays and Saturdays I usually go out with friends for dinner...
