We make something like this in our family, but with sauerkraut, small potatos, and kilbasa or smoked sausage in a big pot.
My Step-father will eat unnatural amounts of this... the bonus is, it is good and relatively inexpensive to feed a lot of people... Mom throws hotdogs in with it, as well, sometimes, for leftover kraut-dogs the next day...
I have a pack of sauerkraut in the fridge to make this before long, LOL... ----- Tammy
