spring?

Was in a surburb today where they've planted daffodils in a row down the grass on the sides of a main street. The little plants have leaves up about three or so inches. Spring's a'comin'!!!

(Last year was the first time these had bloomed. I think the daffodils were a great idea but it would have been so much prettier if they'd grouped them or even broken up the lines or made them slanted........whatever. As it is, looks like some poor guy made sure his line was straight and went down entire blocks. No imagination or artistic view or character!)

Any signs of spring in your area?
