How lucky she had the other woman there to help her -- and they had it on video tape. Did they get the license of the man's car on the video tape? Have they been able to locate him from the tape?



Our Super WalMart is about 8 or so years old. Not long after it opened up, they had a large volume of women being abducted and raped (but not killed) at our WalMart. Usually after dark. Several were grabbed (seemingly by the same guy with no easy pattern).



Your story scares me because I do not shop after dark. In College, we all worked retail at the mall, etc., (I was at Target). A guy would wait outside the stores for lock-up and would cut the achilles tendons in girls, pull them into his van, rape and murder them. We always had a guy or guys with us (that worked with us) when we closed up at Target that walked us to our cars after dark.



Because of that, over these many years, I NEVER shop after dark. My shopping is always done by afternoon. I am also very careful leaving restaurants after dark and am with a group of friends. If I am parked further out, we always make sure eachother gets in our cars safely.



I also NEVER park near a van, daylight or otherwise. I will give up a premium parking space if it is next to a boxy van or something where you can't see clearly inside if someone is in there.
