A friend of my mother-in-law's got them from Poland over 20 years ago
*******************

we use to grow the most amazing tomatos when I was a kid from a similar source. One year the seeds weren't stored properly and that was the end of the best hamburger tomatoes ever seen in this part of the country. Mom still talks about them wistfully 20 years later.

I grew Roma's last year and they were AWFUL! Mealy, grainy, lots of voids, absolute zero flavor. I was so bummed. But my basil was awful too, first time ever. Both were bought at Walmart.

My brother is really looking forward to gardening season with grocery prices so high. The last two years he has been flooded with fresh produce from his co-workers, this year he is nearly counting on it!
