Sounds like it was high to pay $400 for lenses from what you guys say. I went to a local/regional shop, not a chain. After the fact, I found out a shop in the area gives 50% discount on glasses to folks with my insurance carrier (even without vision insurance). Just show the card and they discount. A guy from work paid about half what I did. I didn't even think to check because I handed my ins card a the optical place I got these at and they couldn't take anything off because I don't have vision coverage.
