Congratulations on going back to college! Math was one of my least favorite classes, so I commend you.

So glad to hear that Pookey is doing well. Quentin recently went for his rabies shot. The vet didn't think it was necessary to give the booster this time. More vets seem to be getting away from annual vacciantions; the norm is about every three years. However, it's Indiana law for pets to get annual rabies, so until the law would be changed, vets have to comply.
Also, I wasn't charged for an office call, just the vaccination itself. That was a nice surprise. I didn't argue the point, either. LOL.

They found a slight inflammation in his upper gums. I had Quentin's teeth cleaned last year, so I'm not sure what caused it. The vet gave us some Clavamox to give Quentin for one week. He isn't bothered by the inflammation, and it should clear up after a few days.

Also, we're able to give Quentin the pill in some soft food. He's such a hog when it comes to eating that he doesn't realize there is a pill crumbled up in his dinner.

Star is doing good. It's going to be her turn next for the rabies shot.

Ellen
