>>I know that I had asked questions before about Boris being a Russian Blue. Could you point me to some information regarding the personality traits of types of cats. You see, it is Boris's personality that is so endearing to me. I have had only two other cats in the last 30 years as each lived a long, healthy life (18, 13). Boris is much more loving and more determined to be with his humans than my others were. >> >>----- >>Boris's Human
Right now we are in the process of working up some profiles for all the breeds. Russian Blues are usually considered very active cats, and often are very attached to "their" human or humans. Like several of the other breeds such as Abys, Manx, Burmese, Siamese and Tonks; Russian Blues like to help you and want to be where you are and see what you are doing. I like to call them "in your face" cats as they need the interaction with their family rather than being the stereotypical "independent" cat. That doesn't mean they don't hide under the bed if a stranger comes in, but they want to be in the presence of their humans most of the time. Often demanding to be the center of attention.
