Generally, how long does it take to get registration papers back after you purchase a kitten. I have some issues with the breeder that sold me my Bengal kitten. I knew that when I purchased him that he would not be able to be shown due to rib bars in his coat markings, but I did not expect nor was I told that the kitten had a stage 2 heart mummur. Although the breeder offered a refund after we confronted the breeder that the breeder's vet also knew abount the hear murmmur, we never received it. I am not nearly as concerned about this because he is well-loved and my vet keeps a very close eye on him. He is now 8 months old but I still do not have his registration papers. According to the sales contract, these should be provided and that is what I am more concerned about.

By the way - I did do my homework on this - the breeder was a member of TICA and the TIBCS and provided reputable references.
