Hi,



This breeder should NOT be using a PKD positive cat for breeding. In my opinion this is totally irresponsible, as PKD is heriditary. A responsible breeder would speuter any positive cats and never use them or their offspring for breeding.



I would not buy this kitten, unless you are prepared for the possibility of losing her young. Some PKD cats will live for years, some only months. PKD causes kidney failure, as the cysts that develop "take over" normal tissue. There is less and less normal tissue left as the disease progresses.



Please think this through carefully before you make a final decision, no matter what the blood results are.
