Our 13 yr old cat starting throwing up on a daily basis about 3 weeks ago. We took her to the vet about 2 weeks ago and they did blood tests to test for thyroid problems. The blood work was all negative. They then x-rayed her and saw that her spleen is about 3x normal size and causing pressure on the stomach. We don't have the money to perform exploratory surgety and they can't rule out cancer as a cause for her problems. She is now down to 6 pounds (lost 3 lbs over the past couple of months), throwing up 1 or 2x daily, won't eat, and seems miserable. We love her dearly but don't want her to suffer. Do you have any ideas on what we could do instead of surgery? Thank you.
