After a short while she developed ringworm, so, as we have two other cats and a dog, we isolated her in the bathroom. Almost a year later she didn't appear to be getting any better, but more to the point none of the other animals developed ringworm. We had her retested, and no ringworm was detected, although she still had small scabs on her back and tail. The long and the short of it is that the vet has diagnosed she is allergic to herself. We have tried everything, creams, steroids, injections but she is still all scabby. They don't appear to be causing her any pain, or bother. I was wondering if you have come across anything like this before, and if so, if you could recommend a course of treatment.
