Hi, my cat, Catfish has this sarcoma. It started out as what we thought was a cyst & we ignored it. It grew & eventually opened up so we took him to the vet. We had that removed, but not sent off for biopsy. A couple months later another one came up not far from the last. We had it removed immediately & sent away for biopsy. It came back as cancer, sarcoma. This was about a month ago. Recently Catfish began having some breathing problems so I took him back to the vet where they did x-rays. The vet showed me the x-rays & I was floored. Could it be fluid in his lungs? There is fluid around one of his lungs. My vet didn't act like he wanted to further look into anything. He just told me that all that could be done had & I should be prepared to have fishy put down. Is there anything I can do to help him or make him more comfortable, I love this cat dearly, he's 8 yrs young, still strong & not 0, but full of life.
Thanks for listening, Denise
