If clavamox is not eliminating the discharge, you might ask the vet to run a culture and sensitivity on the discharge. Without examining the cat, or at least knowing something about her, it is difficult to determine a course of action, however, patients needing the homeopathic remedy Pulsatilla often have thick, bland discharges, so it would be worthwhile trying it. Give homeopathic Pulsatilla 30c once a day, directly into the cat's mouth, without food, for a week to see if it will bring about any change.
