My 7 year old neutered DSH Spotted Tabby Ben, was vomiting once a day (after using the litterbox mainly) for over a month. I had an ultrasound and bloodwork done.

Ultrasound showed gas - a partially distended belly with normal ingesta, an da borderline thickening of the submucosal layer of the stomach. ALL else was just fine.

Bloodtest showed a high gobluin(sp?) and he tested positive for the antibodies for the corona virus.

I changed his food and shed him out (vomiting was a lOT of hair) and he stopped vomiting. A mnnth later he started vomiting again, BUT he eats and is playful and acts fine otherwise.

I do not know if I should take him to a Vet Internist or since he has now not vomited in 2 days just wait and watch him.

I worry also about this positive test for the corona virus - does he have it or is it just the antibodies.

When he was vomiting I was givng him slippery elm syrup each day and when I stopped - he stopped vomiting.

A friend told me to buy Seacare but I do not know where to get.

SHOULD I take him to a specialist or just wait and watch him.
