I'm feeding him 3 tablespoons of canned Prescription K/D every 5-6 hours,which amounts to about 1 1/4 cans a day.Is that too much? He's very inactive(elderly). That amount was suggested by Hills based on weight(8 pounds) but maybe it should be based on age.
The other thing is that his stool is of normal consistency but it's a golden colour, should it not be brown if the food is being digested and assimilated properly?
