Since Boris was introduced 9 years ago, I thought I would take a few moments and also introduce the newest member of the family - "Little Bit". She was a "throw-away" kitty that managed to find her way to us about e months ago. From the picture you can tell she really knows how to show off and make your heart melt! My daughter and granddaughter officially named her "Trouble" knowing that I would not turn her away. My husband just groaned a little and then alot as we starting paying out vet bills again. She only weighed a little over 5 lbs when she found us. So we did the entire rounds of tests and shots, then a spay, and then tackled a chronic upper respitory infection that took multiple rounds of antibiotics and a two-day hospital stay with IVs and antibiotics. Due to the chronic nature of her sneezing and "snotty" nose, she is an outdoor kitty right now. Since we have to worry about predators such as coyotes, foxes, and even large hawks, she has her own kennel that she stays in at night. During the day she is outside having a ball. I think she knows she has it made though - she never leaves sight of the house and when either my husband or myself are outside, she is right with us. Now she weighs in at 8 lbs and the vet is very pleased with her progress. We keep her on daily doses of lysine to assit with her immunity system and at the moment her nose is clear and we have not heard one single sneeze in three weeks - the longest so far.
