Hi, I posted earlier about my cat having periodic fluid around the lungs and trying to find reasons for it. Although my cat was diagnosed(reluctantly by the vet) as having asthma, there was no sneezing of coughing. Now there is light sneezing several times a day. I was wondering about the Herpes virus. There's sneezing associated with it but I can't find out if there is also fluid around the lungs too. Is there? If the fluid was analyzed would it show if there was a Herpes virus? Would it show if there was any other virus present? Thanks for info. I can't ask my vet because he insists that the analyis of the fluid would be a waste of time because it would show nothing of any importance.
