I'm thinking black kingsnake but...

I seen this snake a couple weeks ago when I was about to step outside my house. I knew pretty much zero about kingsnakes (actually any snakes) at the time, and it was nowhere to be found when I went around the house to get a better view.
My only concern about it being a Black Kingsnake is 3 days after the encounter I found a skin that measured 6'6" long. I'm in north Alabama and from what I read, the longest is around 58".

I know it's not the best pic but any help would be appreciated. I've actually seen 1 or 2 more since this pic. They were both smaller but I believe they are all staying under my porch.
