i had 2 ball pythons...they were about 1 year apart in age. my oldest bob, was 9 when he died... he had gotten his head caught between a shelf in the tank, and the hinge on the lid.... the younger one, mustang and he both shared a tank...(i have since gotten a better tank) mustang was always eager to be held, loved laying around my neck, never struck at me, or acted afraid.... but since bobs death, about a year ago, his personality has changed... he seems to act aggressive, struck at me a few times, which he never did before... the only time i can even pet him without him getting afraid or aggressive, is if he is completely stretched out on his log, he will let me stroke his back.... some people say snakes dont have a memory or a personality, but after this, the change in him, im not sure what to do... i havent held him in a long time, i pet him when i can, and sit by his tank sometimes and he watches me, and thats when i pet him, but i honestly dont know what to do... since bob died he is a different snake.... any advice for me?
